Ikebana Using Branches (Twigs) in Gaceful Curve

Linear Design Is One of Ikebana Features





Japanese traditional Ikebana arrangement often makes linear designs by using thin and long branches (twigs) as shown in the photos of this page. Ikebana designers often use thin twigs in graceful curves to show a beautiful and sensitive tough of linear designs. For making this kind of arrangement, designers require sensitive and delicate skills. With rough or approximate touch, it is difficult to make Ikebana Arrangement. Furthermore detail oriented sense is highly needed when making many of Ikebana designs.
